Why did you join the RISE Method?

To be happy within myself again. I had gained around 30kg in the last few years. I was eating junk food often, drinking daily and not exercising at all. I turned into an unhappy grumpy fat mum. I needed something to help me.

What do you like about the program?

I loved how easy it was to follow. Just ticking off each time you did something on the app. Logging food and workouts to keep myself accountable was so helpful. I really feel like it’s something you can stick to not just a fad that comes undone once you finish the challenge.

What was your biggest win?

Not only did I lose more than ten kilos, I’ve gained so much confidence again! That’s definitely my biggest win, having confidence and holding my head up! What was your biggest challenge? The biggest challenge would that we all caught gastro in October and my daughter’s diabetes come undone because of it so we had a stint in hospital.

What would you say to someone who was about to start their fitness journey?

Just take one day at a time. Don’t compare yourself to others, only your past self. stay consistent. In my experience you have to push yourself to start. Even when you don’t feel like it. Just force yourself then soon enough you will be so excited to go to the gym and feeling great from all the healthy food!
