Why did you join the RISE Method?
My wife asked me to join as a team so we could better ourselves. While I was reluctant at first I knew I needed to cut away bad habits, hold myself accountable and challenge myself again with my workouts. That's why I joined.
What do you like about the program?
The workouts! There was a great exercise selection for all the workouts. Some challenging exercises but with the instructional videos, and the trainer only a message away, very enjoyable. The other thing I really enjoyed was having the nutrition tracking in the same app as the workout plan. Made it easier to stay accountable and saves having two apps on the go.
What was your biggest win?
The amount of strength and size gains in my lower body, free from pain and increased mobility. It turns out I wasn't challenging myself on lower body or leg days. The program helped me increase the volume of my training for lower body and the results have been great. My second biggest win has been getting always visible abs for the first time in a few years.
What was your biggest challenge?
Sticking to the nutrition plan was the biggest challenge, no doubt about it. But it is the most important habit to form and the biggest driver of physiological change.
What would you say to someone who was about to start their fitness journey?
Go for it! Find something you can stay consistent at and that's fun for you. Set achievable goals and give it your all!
