
Why did you join the RISE Method?
I joined BTC5 as I was feeling depressed and unhealthy. I wanted the structure of a meal plan and training program. I am motivated seeing other people do well and the Summit is an added bonus.
What do you like about the program?
Everything! The app is easy to use, there is a huge variety of meals and training programs. The program is so adaptable and easy to follow. The support from the coaches is fantastic. They are very accessible and patient.
What was your biggest win?
Finishing BTC5 and loading start and finish photos and videos. I’ve done quite a few challenges and usually take my start photo but don’t achieve my goals or see progress. This round I made a commitment to myself to complete the challenge and load those final photos no matter what! I didn’t achieve all my goals but achieved non-scale victories like improved sleep, increased water intake, and flexibility.
What was your biggest challenge?
I injured my ankle early in the challenge and it really limited me. I had to cut back on walking and ease off on lower body training, but I adapted and incorporated my physiotherapy as part of my BTC.
What would you say to someone who was about to start their fitness journey?
Join! There are nutrition and training options to suit everyone - from regular gym users to home trainers, experienced lifters to beginners. Give it a go, you've got nothing to lose!
