
Why did you join the RISE Method?
I joined the RISE Method to challenge myself and create a healthier relationship with food. I wanted to better understand my strengths, shift my perspective, and grow in an environment where people genuinely support and uplift each other.
What do you like about the program?
I really like how easy the app is to use, it makes tracking everything simple and satisfying. I love being able to tick things off as I go. Steve is always helpful and quick to answer any questions about the exercises, which makes a big difference. The meditation sessions have been amazing too! They’ve helped me relax and sleep so much better.
What was your biggest win?
My biggest win has been my mindset around working out. I’ve really started to enjoy being in the gym and pushing myself. Hitting new PBs has been such a confidence boost (even though I didn’t have them before!). Most importantly, I feel mentally stronger. Being able to focus, stay consistent, and feel the benefits both in my mind and body has been a huge shift for me.
What was your biggest challenge?
My biggest challenge was food prep. In the first 2–3 weeks I was really consistent, but then life got busy and I couldn’t find the time on weekends to prepare my meals. That really got me down because I noticed how much better I felt when I was organised. I ended up relying on frozen meals and quick options, which made it harder to stay on track.
What would you say to someone who was about to start their fitness journey?
Just turn up for yourself. Ignore the noise and excuses. Put your shoes on and move. Go to the gym or get outside for a walk. You’ll thank yourself later for showing up. Every step counts.
