Why did you join the RISE Method?    

For me it is about having a plan. The app tells what to do so it removes the “thinking” for me. For someone who studies full time, work and run a house full of kids I am time poor and without a easy accessible plan and recipes I will quite easily just do what is quick and easy, but this leads to weight gai! Having the rise challenge is also a bit of fun for me. Having a little bit of healthy competition gives me that extra push to get my bum off the couch when I don’t feel like it. 

What do you like about the program?     

The ease to follow, the variety and flexibility and the recipes! 

What was your biggest win?     

Moving towards my weigh-loss goals but also feeling so much fitter and stronger. 

What was your biggest challenge?    

During this last challenge it was the last two weeks. I ended up in hospital with some medical issues, which fortunately can be treated, but I couldn’t exercise as often as I wanted to.  Having the meals and walking kept me on track and I am still amazed at my progress . 

What would you say to someone who was about to start their fitness journey?
